How to Join

Laborers who begin working with a signatory contractor in Summit, Portage, or Medina Counties are required to join Local 894 within 8 days of employment.

Requirements for Membership

To complete your enrollment, please provide the following:

- A current pay stub confirming employment in Summit, Portage, or Medina County - A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification

Initiation Fees and Dues The total initiation fee is $629.00, which includes:

- $500.00 initiation fee - $129.00 covering the first three months of union dues (at $43.00 per month) Minimum payment amounts may vary. Please contact the union hall for current payment requirements and additional details.

Monthly Dues

- Union dues are due on the first of each month and are the responsibility of the laborer. - Please note that dues are not automatically deducted from your paycheck.

Office Hours Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Last Saturday of the Month (April – October): 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
